This little diner was amazing!! The owner and the other waitress were on top of checking on every customer. The food was awesome with them also making an off menu item for my daughter. Whenever you visit Laporte this is a recommended breakfast stop!

Historical building in downtown location. Food choices were good as was food. Homemade milkshake was delicious. Original floor and furnishings was appreciated. Server was excellent. Cost was reasonable. Street parking was readily available on a Saturday afternoon. Bathroom was hard to find, small, and not the cleanest.

What a fantastic little spot. Actually not so little because there is a lot of seating. It reminds me of an old ice cream parlor. Very cool and old diner feel.
We couldn't decide on what to get so a few things were ordered -
the eggs Benedict was spot on (though I usually like my hollandaise really lemony - this was well balanced)
The biscuits and gravy were delicious - soft and doughy biscuit with yummy sausage gravy (I added a little salt and pepper to it)
The corned beef hash was SOOOOOO good. It was cooked to the point that it was crispy, which in my opinion makes it so much better.
My boyfriend got the meat lovers plate which just looked like a pile of yumminess - I didn't try it.
The service was super quick and everyone was VERY friendly and helpful - great team atmosphere for a busy Sunday morning.
We got a piece of blueberry cobbler to take home and heated it up for a few seconds - DELICIOUS.
Prices are low for the amount of food you get.
Definitely worth a visit! -

PT2 I went in for a take out, i forgot my phone, a very expensive one, and low and behold the young lady kept it for me, in a drawer up front, this is after I complained about the server giving me the biscuits and gravy that was to go before we were all done eating, she had it replaced for fresh, kept my phone safe and just simply made my day all the way around!

I thought food was good for a traditional breakfast place, service was great. My brother had a scramble that he said wasn't that great, but corned beef hash, eggs over easy and hash browns were great. Coffee was good too.
